National System of Occupations (NSP) — nationwide electronic register of standard requirements of employers with regards to professional skills and competence as well as practical experience necessary to perform work activities in the labour market. Online labour market guide (ISTP) — free-of-charge and publicly accessible online portal which represents a one-stop-shop for the unemployed and provides online access to self-service diagnosis of their employment potential and search for the most suitable vacancies. It provides the employers with free classified advertising of vacant positions and jobs as well as a database of job applicants. Average monthly statistics of the portal amount to 700 000 visits, over 30 000 registered employers, 400 000 active users and 80 000 available jobs.

Total Costs of Labour (ÚNP) — statistical research of differences in the structure of costs of labour between employers and industries, the dynamics of changes in short- and long-term horizon not only in Slovakia but also in an international comparison.

Implementation of tasks related to nationwide statistical research of the structure of employees’ wages and regional employment depending on the place of work.

Information System on the Costs of Labour (ISCP) — a unique information system covering labour conditions and standards as well as current level of earnings in Slovakia broken down into specific occupations with tradition dating back 25 years. ISCP covers 52% of the employed productive population of Slovakia, i.e. every second employee in the country.

Forecasts of the development in the labour market – we elaborate short-term and mid-term prognostic reports looking into Slovak labour market as well as into the respective regions of the country based on the current situation and trends in employment, demographic development and other major indicators. We monitor and analyse the ability and success rate of secondary-school and university graduates in the labour market with the objective of evaluating major trends in order to align the supply and demand in the labour market. The key focus is to identify the future disparities in order to prevent negative phenomena in the labour market while preparing skilled labour in alignment with the requirements of the employers in the respective sectors of the national economy.
